I attended a MyLeadSystem Pro training led by industry top income earner, Ray Higdon.  Ray shared 10 prospecting tricks that are guaranteed to produce 50 leads a day. In this post, I am going to share 2 of my favorite 10 strategies that he shared.

MLM Lead Generation Strategy #1: Business Card Grab

Estimated Time: 1-2 hrs/week

Estimated Leads: 10-30 per day

Technique: Locate places in your area that have corkboards where people place their business cards. Grab them and make calls.  Here’s what to say: “Not sure where I found your card, but would you be interested in a side project that doesn’t interfere with what you’re currently doing?”

Why this technique works: The people who advertise and put their business cards in these locations are people who want more business and are interested in making more money.

MLM Lead Generation Strategy #2: Realtor Signs

Estimated Time: 1 hr/week

Estimated Leads: 5 leads/week

Technique: Drive around your local neighborhood and locate realtor signs. Jot down the realtor’s name, phone number, and property location.  Make the call! This particular strategy comes from master prospector, Todd Falcone’s training on how to recruit professionals: Recruit Professionals What to say: “Do you at all keep your options open in terms of making money outside of what you are currently doing as a real estate professional?”

Why this technique works: Realtors get paid on commission and so are used to getting paid the same way we get paid in network marketing-for our personal production.  This is one of the main reasons why realtors are some of the best professionals to recruit into your business.

    • Do a search in Facebook and find groups related to network marketing, mlm, and home-based businesses. Join those groups!
  2. Strategy #2: Contribute to those groups
    • Offer value, do not pitch. Share helpful tips and advice
    • Comment on other group member’s posts and engage and interact with the community
    • One of the mistakes that most network marketers make is that they join groups on Facebook and start pitching everyone their business opportunity. Do not do this! You want to offer value, to be a leader.
  3. Strategy #3: Network
    • Every group has a list of members
    • Send friend requests to the members of the group. When you send a friend request, send a message along with the request stating that you want to connect.
  4. Strategy #4: Create Your Own Facebook Group

Having your own Facebook group gives you  credibility  and positions you as a leader. It is great social proof for your prospects and positions you as a leader.  Imagine the positioning a Facebook group gives you when you can direct your prospect to your Facebook group where you have over 500 members.  This will demonstrate to your prospects that you are someone with credibility and authority online.  You will be able to build trust and connect with your prospects better and recruit more prospects into your company.
